Vittorio Marella's engravings 

The history of art teaches us that many great painters of the past – and of the present too – were attracted to engraving as a technique of expression. Some of these include Canaletto, Fortuny, Vedova...
And Vittorio Marella too has been fascinated by the art of print-making in recent months, and for the first time he is presenting a series of etchings taken from the paintings he created for the exhibition 'Leaving Nowhere'.
In order to learn the secrets of this powerful expressive medium, the artist collaborated with the Bottega del Tintoretto, a Venetian workshop whose aim is to preserve and promote the tradition of quality art printing.
