LAGUNA is the new exhibition presented by lineadacqua gallery.
A hybrid exhibition in which Davide Battistin’s paintings interact with ancient representations of the Venice lagoon.
From lineadacqua’s collection of rare books and antique prints emerge precious images and documents bearing witness to the central role of the lagoon environment, and its transformations, throughout Venetian history. The charm of this unique natural landscape finds a new interpretation in Battistin’s lagoon paintings, the result of years of artistic research devoted to capturing the light and poetry of the Venetian environment.
